# Create Account Invite

`POST /account/invites`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rebrandly.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.rebrandly.com/v1/account/invites`
- Auth: API key in header `apikey`

Create a new invite to add a teammate.

**Requires:** `collaboration.teammates` feature flag.

## Headers

- `apikey` string, required

## Request body

- InviteInput: Input for creating an invite
  - `email` string, email, required: Email address to invite
  - `role` 'admin' | 'user' | 'guest' | 'viewer': Role to grant (default is user)
  - `workspaces` string[]: Workspace IDs to grant access to

## Response `200`

Created invite

- Invite: Account invite
  - `id` string, required: Invite public ID
  - `email` string, email, required: Invitee's email address
  - `role` 'owner' | 'admin' | 'user' | 'guest' | 'viewer': Role to be granted upon acceptance
  - `status` 'pending' | 'accepted' | 'expired', required: Invite status
  - `createdAt` string, date-time
  - `expiresAt` string, date-time: When the invite expires
  - `workspaces` object[]: Workspaces the invitee will have access to
    - `id` string
    - `name` string

## Other responses

- `403`: Forbidden - Insufficient permissions
