# Update Bulk Records

`PATCH /api/bulk-update/{objectNames}/{recordId}/{childObjectName}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.reallysimplesystems.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Update multiple existing records for an object. Every record must supply a non-null id. If any record is missing an id, or the record does not exist, the entire batch fails.

## Request body

  - `data` string[], required: An array of records to update. Every record MUST include a non-null `id` for an existing record. If any record is missing an `id`, or references a record that does not exist, the entire batch fails and nothing is updated.
