# Download documents associated with a record

`GET /api/{objectName}/{recordId}/documents/download`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.reallysimplesystems.com`
- URL: `https://api.reallysimplesystems.com/api/{objectName}/{recordId}/documents/download`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Downloads one or more documents related to a specific record. If only one document is associated with the record, it will be downloaded directly. If multiple documents are associated, they will be compressed into a zip file and then downloaded.

## Response `200`

## Other responses

- `403`: The user is not authorized to access documents for this record.
- `404`
- `500`: An unexpected error occurred while processing the request.
