# LinkedIn proxy: scrape a single profile

`GET /api/linkedin/{account_id}/scrape-profile`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.reachmcp.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.reachmcp.com/api/linkedin/{account_id}/scrape-profile`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Fetch a complete LinkedIn profile by LinkedIn URL or profile ID.

**Input formats accepted** (``linkedin_id_or_url``):

- Standard LinkedIn URL: ``https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-doe``
- Vanity name: ``john-doe``
- Sales Navigator lead URL: ``https://www.linkedin.com/sales/lead/ACwAABxxxx,...``
- Internal member ID: ``ACwAABxxxx`` (base64 format)

**Source selection:**

- Sales Navigator URL or internal member ID + account has SalesNav → ``salesApiProfiles`` (richer, single call, includes full company/tenure data).
- Vanity name / standard LinkedIn URL, or SalesNav unavailable → multi-call Voyager API (profile, detail, company, relations, skills, languages, experiences).

Note: SalesNav **cannot** be used with a vanity name (``/in/john-doe``) — it requires the internal member ID.

- `linkedin_id_or_url` string, required: LinkedIn profile URL, vanity name, SalesNav URL, or internal member ID.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- LinkedInScrapedUserOut: Normalized profile from a LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, or Recruiter search result. Mirrors the fields Kanbox persists via ``scrap_leads`` / ``enrich_lead`` / ``enrich_lead_talent``. Fields not available for a given search type are ``None``.
  - `linkedin_id` string, required: Profile ID (fsd_profile or ts_profile suffix).
  - `linkedin_public_id` string, nullable: Vanity URL slug (/in/<slug>).
  - `linkedin_plain_id` string, nullable: Numeric member ID (objectUrn suffix).
  - `salesnavigator_url` string, nullable: Sales Navigator profile URL (SalesNav searches only).
  - `profile_url` string, nullable: Public LinkedIn profile URL.
  - `full_name` string, nullable: Full name as returned by LinkedIn (standard search only).
  - `firstname` string, nullable
  - `lastname` string, nullable
  - `headline` string, nullable
  - `location` string, nullable
  - `industry` string, nullable
  - `summary` string, nullable
  - `picture` string, nullable: Profile picture URL.
  - `job` string, nullable: Current job title.
  - `company` string, nullable: Current company name.
