# TikTok's recommended target ROAS and daily budget

## Request

TikTok's recommended ROI target (`roas_bid`) and daily budget for a Product or LIVE GMV Max campaign on this shop, read from TikTok on the request. For a Product campaign, pass `item_group_ids` (comma-separated product SPU IDs, at most 50) to get the recommendation for those products; omit it for all products. A LIVE campaign needs `identity_id`. Single shop only.

## Query parameters

- `campaign_type` 'product' | 'live'
- `item_group_ids` string, nullable: Product campaigns only: comma-separated SPU IDs, at most 50.
- `identity_id` string, nullable: LIVE campaigns only (required): the LIVE source identity.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- GmvMaxBidRecommendationResponse: GET /gmv-max/bid-recommendation — TikTok's suggested ROI target and budget.
  - `shop_id` integer, required
  - `currency` string, required: ISO currency code for the shop's region.
  - `data` GmvMaxBidRecommendation, required
    - `campaign_type` 'product' | 'live', required
    - `recommended_target_roas` number, nullable: TikTok's recommended ROI target (`roas_bid`). Pass it as `target_roas` to update_gmv_max_campaign or create_gmv_max_campaign.
    - `recommended_daily_budget` number, nullable: TikTok's recommended daily budget (`budget`).

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request / shop not connected to GMV Max.
- `422`: TikTok rejected the request.
- `429`: TikTok is throttling.
- `502`: TikTok failed transiently; safe to retry.
