# Recent AI citation checks: which tracked queries were checked on which AI model and whether the brand was cited.

`GET /api/v1/citations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rctrl.com`
- URL: `https://api.rctrl.com/api/v1/citations`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Requires the `read:citations` scope.

## Query parameters

- `model` string: Filter by AI model, e.g. chatgpt, perplexity
- `limit` number: Most recent checks to return (default 100, max 200)
- `before` string: Only checks older than this (ISO date or milliseconds). A full page returns nextBefore: pass it here for the next older page.

## Response `200`

Success; the payload is wrapped in a data envelope

- `400`: Bad input
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: API key lacks the required scope
- `404`: Not found in this workspace
- `429`: Rate limited; the body includes a retryAfterMs hint
