# Read one thread

`GET /conversations/{id}`

## Request

One thread in a single call: its meta, the most recent messages oldest-first, the contact summary (marketing status, tags, audiences), and — for WhatsApp threads — whether the 24-hour service window is still open. Internal team notes are deliberately excluded.

- `400`: Arguments failed validation.
- `401`: Missing or invalid agent key.
- `403`: Key does not hold the conversations:read scope.
- `429`: Rate limited.
