# Get auth settings for a user

`GET /users/{userId}/identities`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Return authentication settings for a user, including whether a password exists and which external identity providers are connected.

## Path parameters

- `userId` string, required

## Response `200`

The request has succeeded.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is invalid or malformed.
