# Tell us a page was unclear (no key needed)

`POST /v1/feedback`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ratchetgate.com`
- URL: `https://ratchetgate.com/v1/feedback`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Records whether one page did its job, with an optional message. Stores no IP, sets no cookie, and cannot be read back. An email is optional and is used only to reply to that message.

## Request body

  - `path` string, required: The page being rated, as a site-relative path.
  - `was_clear` boolean, required
  - `message` string
  - `reply_to` string, email
  - `viewport` 'phone' | 'tablet' | 'desktop' | 'wide': Coarse width bucket, so a layout complaint can be reproduced.
  - `website` string

## Response `202`
