# How much of what really happened came through the gate

`GET /v1/coverage`

Per effect type present in your traffic — not merely the ones you configured. `coverage` is the proportion of vendor-observed actions that asked Ratchet first, from the most recent comparison. A type never compared reports `null` and a status of `unknown`, and is never counted as covered: an unknown outcome stays unknown, the same rule the effect state machine follows. `configured: false` means no policy row exists, so no cadence can be set and no reminder will ever fire for it.

    - `coverage` number, nullable: gated / checked from the last comparison. Null means never compared — which is unknown, not complete.

  - `unknown_types` integer: How many effect types carry traffic with no evidence at all.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `402`: Insufficient prepaid credit.
- `403`: Scope, policy, or budget refusal.
- `404`: Not found.
- `409`: Conflicting state or idempotency-key reuse.
- `413`: Payload too large.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
