# Permanently locks the customer out: they can no longer sign in or obtain new tokens.

`POST /customers/{customerId}/ban`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rapidata.ai`
- URL: `https://api.rapidata.ai/customers/{customerId}/ban`
- Auth: OpenID Connect (`https://auth.rapidata.ai/.well-known/openid-configuration`, scopes: `openid`, `profile`, `email`, `offline_access`, `api`)

Idempotent; 400 for your own account. Earlier access tokens stay valid until expiry, at most 1 hour.
