# Create a contact list

`POST /contact-lists`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

The `key` is a slug derived from the name and is stable once created.

  - `name` string, required
  - `description` string, nullable

Contact list created

    - `id` string, required
    - `name` string, required
    - `key` string, required: URL-safe slug derived from the name, stable once created
    - `description` string, nullable, required
    - `contact_count` integer, required
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `409`: A list with that name already exists
