# Simulate a chargeback against a payin

`POST /v1/payins/{payin_id}/simulate_chargeback`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sandbox.rainforestpay.com`
- URL: `https://api.sandbox.rainforestpay.com/v1/payins/{payin_id}/simulate_chargeback`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Only available in the Rainforest sandbox environment.

The expected webhooks will be sent as the as the chargeback is created.

- object: Simulation request to create a chargeback against a payin.
  - `status` 'INQUIRY_ACTION_REQUIRED' | 'DISPUTE_ACTION_REQUIRED': Initial status to initiate a chargeback in.
