# List models

`GET /models`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.rainbrand.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://www.rainbrand.com/api/v1/models`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://www.rainbrand.com/api/auth/oauth2/authorize`
    - Token URL: `https://www.rainbrand.com/api/auth/oauth2/token`

Find a model for the type of file you want to create, then read its input schema before generating.

## Query parameters

- `type` 'image' | 'video' | 'audio' | 'svg': Filter by the type of file the model generates.
- `query` string: Search available models.
- `limit` integer: Maximum number of models to return. Accepts 1–50; defaults to 20.
- `cursor` string: Cursor for the next page. Keep type and query unchanged when using a cursor.

    - `models` object[], required: Models matching the filters on this page.
      - `id` string, required: Exact model ID. Use this value when fetching model details or starting a generation.
      - `provider` string, required: Provider that offers the model.
      - `name` string, required: Display name of the model.
      - `type` 'image' | 'video' | 'audio' | 'svg', required: Type of file the model generates.
      - `capabilities` string[], required: Machine-readable tags identifying the model’s supported operations, such as `text-to-image` or `image-to-video`.
      - `description` string, required: Description of the model and its capabilities.
    - `nextCursor` string, nullable, required: Pass this value as cursor to get the next page. Null when there are no more results.
    - `hasMore` boolean, required: Whether another page of models is available.
