# Create incident

`POST /api/v1/projects/{projectId}/incidents`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8080`
- URL: `http://localhost:8080/api/v1/projects/{projectId}/incidents`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Opens an incident and records its first timeline entry.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- IncidentRequest
  - `title` string
  - `severity` 'INFO' | 'WARNING' | 'CRITICAL'
  - `status` 'OPEN' | 'INVESTIGATING' | 'RESOLVED'
  - `rcaNotes` string

## Response `201`
