# Forgot password

`POST /api/v1/auth/forgot-password`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8080`
- URL: `http://localhost:8080/api/v1/auth/forgot-password`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sends a password reset email to the user

## Request body

- ForgotPasswordRequest
  - `email` string, email, required

## Response `200`

If the email exists, a reset link has been sent

## Other responses

- `429`: Too many requests
