# Disable public share link

`DELETE /v1/transcriptions/{id}/share`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.quillhub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.quillhub.ai/v1/transcriptions/{id}/share`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Turns off the public share link. The transcription becomes inaccessible at `/share/{public_id}` until POST is called again. Idempotent — calling on already-disabled returns 200 with `share_enabled: false`. The `public_id` is preserved; re-enabling returns the same URL.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `locale` 'en' | 'ru': UI locale segment for the returned URL. Defaults to `en`.

## Response `200`

Share disabled.

  - `url` string, uri, required
  - `share_enabled` boolean, required
  - `share_enabled_at` string, date-time, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid Bearer token.
- `404`: No transcription with this id exists under the authenticated account.
