# Get a shared transcript by public_id

`GET /v1/public/transcripts/{publicId}`

Returns the transcript projection for a transcription whose owner enabled public sharing. Returns 404 if the transcription does not exist, sharing is disabled, or the transcription was deleted — the response does not distinguish between these so that nonexistence and revocation are indistinguishable to a guesser.
