# Delete the authenticated account

`DELETE /v1/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.quillhub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.quillhub.ai/v1/me`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes the signed-in account and everything it owns: recordings, transcripts, audio files, workspaces you own, AI memory, API keys and integrations. An active subscription is cancelled first. Payment records are kept anonymised, as required by law. Requires a signed-in session (OAuth access token) — API keys cannot delete an account.

- DeleteMeRequest
  - `confirm` true, required: Must be `true`. Guards against an accidental call — deletion cannot be undone.

Account deleted

  - `deleted` true, required
  - `workspaces_deleted` integer, required
  - `recordings_deleted` integer, required
  - `subscriptions_cancelled` integer, required
  - `files_deleted` integer, required
  - `cleanup_errors` integer, required: Stored files that could not be removed right away. The account itself is already gone.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication failed, or an API key was used
- `409`: You own a workspace with other members, or a workspace subscription is active
- `502`: The active subscription could not be cancelled; nothing was deleted
