# Hard-delete a transcription (first-party only)

`DELETE /v1/desktop/transcriptions/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.quillhub.ai`
- URL: `https://api.quillhub.ai/v1/desktop/transcriptions/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently removes the `request` row owned by the authenticated user. Returns 204 on success. Only JWT (OAuth) auth is accepted — API keys cannot use this endpoint.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

Transcription deleted.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthenticated.
- `403`: API key auth not permitted on this endpoint.
- `404`: Transcription not found.
- `409`: The transcription is locked by processing (`transcription_busy`); retry later.
