# Update an MCP connection

`PATCH /v1/ai/mcp/connections/:id`

## Request

Partial update. Changing anything inside the `stdio`/`http` block changes `launch_fingerprint`, which invalidates the user's launch confirmation on every desktop — that is intentional.
