# Alpha Attach Backtest

`POST /v1/me/accounts/{account_id}/alphas/{deploy_id}/attach-backtest`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.quantradin.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.quantradin.com/v1/me/accounts/{account_id}/alphas/{deploy_id}/attach-backtest`
- Auth: none declared

Attach a run the member ALREADY finished to the bot it was a test of.

WHY (2026-10-07, "Build by talking"): a member presses "Test it first",
reads the result, then deploys the very same table. Without this the new
bot reads NOT GRADED and the only way to fix it is to run the identical
backtest a second time. This runs NOTHING — it copies a finished grade.

Honesty rules, each a refusal rather than a guess:
  * the run must belong to the desk's owner (404 otherwise — the same
    cloak a missing run gets);
  * it must be a finished single-strategy run (409 while running, and for
    walk-forward / ensemble rows, whose result is not a bot's grade);
  * it must have graded EXACTLY this bot's spec — every key but the name
    and the provenance notes (409 "a different strategy").
Still ADVISORY: mode and status are never touched, exactly like
jobs.run_alpha_backtest, whose attach step this reuses.
