# Create Org Activation Key

`POST /api/admin/organizations/{org_id}/activation-keys`

Mint a BYOK activation key for an enterprise organization (admin only).

Minting is how an organization is given BYOK: the key is owned by a
service user that is a member of the organization, and the organization
receives an explicit ``byok`` grant. The service user has none of
Quadrillion's own permissions. The plaintext is returned exactly once.
