# Cancel a per-service rental

`POST /per-service/cancel`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.quackr.io`
- URL: `https://api.quackr.io/per-service/cancel`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Cancel a recently purchased per-service rental and get a refund of everything paid for it (the purchase and any renewals) to your account balance. A rental can only be cancelled between 5 and 120 minutes after purchase, and only if it has not received any SMS. Cancelling through the API must be enabled for your account; contact support to enable it.

  - `rentId` string, required: The rental ID returned from the purchase endpoint

## Response `200`

Rental cancelled and refunded

  - `refundAmount` number: Amount refunded to your account balance (USD)

## Other responses

- `400`: Cancellation not allowed
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: API cancellation is not enabled for this account
- `404`: Rental not found on this account
