# Create a virtual card

`POST /cards`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.quackr.io`
- URL: `https://api.quackr.io/cards`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Create a new virtual credit card. The card amount is deducted from your account balance. Cards are created instantly and can be used immediately for online purchases.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: Display name for the card
  - `amount` number, required: Initial balance to load onto the card (USD)
  - `walletType` 'none' | 'apple' | 'google': Wallet compatibility for the card
