# Cancel a phone number rental

`POST /cancel`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.quackr.io`
- URL: `https://api.quackr.io/cancel`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Cancel a recently purchased phone number and receive a refund. Numbers can only be cancelled within 120 minutes / 2 hours of purchase and must not have received any SMS messages.

## Request body

  - `phoneNumber` string, required: The phone number to cancel (with or without + prefix)

## Response `200`

Successfully cancelled the phone number

  - `success` boolean

## Other responses

- `400`: Cancellation not allowed
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid API key
- `404`: Number not found
