# Duplicate a Variant

`POST /variants/duplicate`

Creates a Variant resource.

## Request body

  - `name` LanguageTranslation — This structure does accept key & values where key has to be a language code configured in your PIM & the value is the value for this field in this language.

    - `documentType` string, iri-reference
    - `attributeSet` string, iri-reference, nullable
    - `classifications` ClassificationClassificationOutputVariantOutput[]
      - `id` string — This is the unique identifier of the resource
      - `legacyId` integer
    - `id` string — This is the unique identifier of the resource
    - `legacyId` integer
  - `active` boolean
  - `attributes` string[]
  - `sequence` integer, nullable
  - `assetLinks` string[]
