# Update the Field Permission

`PUT /permissions/fields/{id}`

Replaces the PermissionField resource.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- PermissionFieldEdit
  - `fieldsVisible` string[], required — This array should contains Field Identifiers. While POST or PUT, this array should contain every single value needed, while current values in the payload will replace existing ones.
  - `fieldsEditable` string[], required — This array should contains Field Identifiers. While POST or PUT, this array should contain every single value needed, while current values in the payload will replace existing ones.
  - `users` Identifier[] — This object should contains a collection of user identifiers
  - `description` LanguageTranslation — This structure does accept key & values where key has to be a language code configured in your PIM & the value is the value for this field in this language.
    - `fr-FR` string
    - `en-US` string
  - `name` LanguageTranslation, required — This structure does accept key & values where key has to be a language code configured in your PIM & the value is the value for this field in this language.
    - `fr-FR` string
    - `en-US` string
