# Get session turns

`GET /api/v1/sessions/{session_id}/turns`

Paginated turn-by-turn transcript for a session.

## Path parameters

- `session_id` string, required — Identifier of the session whose turns to list.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer — Page size
- `offset` integer — Pagination offset

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- TurnListResponse — Paginated turn list.
  - `items` TurnItem[], required — Turn list items.
    - `id` string, required — Durable turn identifier.
    - `turn_index` integer, required — Zero-based turn position.
    - `user_message` string, required — User message text.
    - `assistant_message` string, nullable — Assistant response text.
    - `created_at` string, required — ISO-8601 creation timestamp.
  - `total` integer, required — Total turns in session.
  - `offset` integer, required — Current pagination offset.
  - `limit` integer, required — Current page size.
  - `has_more` boolean, required — Whether more turns exist beyond this page.

## Other responses

- `401` — Authentication is required or the provided token is invalid.
- `403` — The caller does not have permission to access this resource.
- `404` — Session not found.
- `422` — Validation Error
- `503` — Session services are unavailable because server startup is incomplete.
