# Delete Workspace File

`DELETE /sessions/{session_id}/workspace/files/{rel_path}`

## Request

Delete one workspace file.

Malformed relative paths return 422, a busy Session lock returns 409, and other file
deletion failures return 404. Return the deleted relative path on success.

- `session_id` string, required

- Deleted: Acknowledgement of a deleted memory entry or workspace file.

- `409`: A Turn or workspace change holds the Session lock; retry when it completes
