# Update share link configuration

`PATCH /qr-code/{id}/share`

Updates the display options (showName, showDownloadButton) for an existing share link.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

  - `showName` boolean: Whether to display the QR code name on the public share page
  - `showDownloadButton` boolean: Whether to show a download button on the public share page

  - `id` string, uuid, required: Unique identifier (UUID v4)
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: Timestamp when the resource was created (ISO 8601)
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time, nullable, required: Timestamp when the resource was last updated (ISO 8601), or null if never updated
  - `qrCodeId` string, uuid, required: ID of the QR code being shared
  - `shareToken` string, uuid, required: Unique token used in the public share URL
  - `config` object, required: Display configuration for the public share page
    - `showName` boolean, required: Whether to display the QR code name on the public share page
    - `showDownloadButton` boolean, required: Whether to show a download button on the public share page
  - `isActive` boolean, required: Whether the share link is currently active
  - `createdBy` string, required: User ID of the share link owner

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request — invalid input or validation failure
- `401`: Unauthorized — missing or invalid Bearer token.
- `403`: Forbidden — you do not have permission to access this resource.
- `404`: Not Found — the requested resource does not exist.
