# Delete QR code

`DELETE /qr-code/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.qrcodly.de/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.qrcodly.de/api/v1/qr-code/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes a QR code and its associated short URL (if any). Only the owner can delete their QR codes.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Default Response

- object
  - `deleted` boolean, required: True if the resource was successfully deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized — missing or invalid Bearer token.
- `403`: Forbidden — you do not have permission to access this resource.
- `404`: Not Found — the requested resource does not exist.
- `429`: Too Many Requests — rate limit exceeded. Retry after the rate limit window resets.
