# Edit an organization

`PUT /organization/{organizationId}`

## Request

To edit an organization you must have the admin permission

  - `repository` string, nullable
  - `logo_url` string, nullable
  - `icon_url` string, nullable

Edit an organization

  - `name` string, required: name is case insensitive

  - `plan` 'FREE' | 'TEAM' | 'TEAM_YEARLY' | 'ENTERPRISE' | 'ENTERPRISE_YEARLY' | 'PROFESSIONAL' | 'BUSINESS', required: BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL are deprecated
  - `website_url` string, nullable
  - `repository` string, nullable
  - `logo_url` string, nullable
  - `icon_url` string, nullable
  - `admin_emails` string[], nullable
  - `owner` string, uuid: uuid of the user owning the organization
  - `organization_plan` object
    - `plan` 'FREE' | 'TEAM' | 'TEAM_YEARLY' | 'ENTERPRISE' | 'ENTERPRISE_YEARLY' | 'PROFESSIONAL' | 'BUSINESS': BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL are deprecated
    - `audit_logs_retention_in_days` number: audit logs maximum period available in days

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Access token is missing or invalid
- `403`: Access forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Organization name is already taken
