# Verify a director (DIN or PAN)

`POST /kyc/verify/director`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.qorpiq.com`
- URL: `https://api.qorpiq.com/kyc/verify/director`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Director existence, DIN status and disqualification by DIN or PAN. A PAN is resolved to its DIN first; a PAN with no DIN returns 404 (the person holds no directorship). Works without the company master login.

## Request body

- DirectorVerifyRequest
  - `din` string: 8-digit DIN. Provide din or pan.
  - `pan` string: PAN of the director (alternative to din); resolved to its DIN first.

## Response `200`

Success.

  - `transaction_id` string, uuid: Unique id for this request, echoed in the X-Transaction-Id header.

  - `is_disqualified` boolean
  - `disqualification` object, nullable
    - `from` string, nullable
    - `to` string, nullable
    - `section` string, nullable
  - `active_non_compliant_company` boolean
  - `approval_date` string, nullable
  - `timestamp` integer: Response time (epoch ms).

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body or parameters.
- `401`: Missing or invalid x-api-key.
- `402`: Balance too low for this call. Add money to your QorpIQ balance to continue (reason credit_balance_exhausted is kept for compatibility).
- `404`: No matching record found.
- `503`: MCA data source temporarily unavailable.
