# Auditor appointment on record

`POST /kyc/verify/auditor`

## Request

Whether the company has an auditor appointment (ADT-1) on MCA's record, with the latest and first appointment dates, the number of appointments and the age of the latest. Derived from public filing metadata; one MCA call, no document download. Absence of an ADT-1 is not proof of no auditor, and no term-current verdict is given because the filing list does not carry the appointment term.

    - `event_date` string: Appointment date as MCA lists it, DD-MM-YYYY.

  - `years_since_last_appointment` number, nullable: Age of the latest appointment in years. No term-current verdict is given: the term (1 to 5 years) is not in the filing list.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body or parameters.
- `401`: Missing or invalid x-api-key.
- `402`: Balance too low for this call. Add money to your QorpIQ balance to continue (reason credit_balance_exhausted is kept for compatibility).
- `503`: MCA upstream temporarily unavailable. Retry after the Retry-After header.
