# Revoke an API key

`DELETE /api-keys/{api_key_id}`

Revokes an API key bound to the authenticated caller. Repeating the request is safe and does not change the original revocation time.

## Path parameters

- `api_key_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

API key is revoked

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid API key ID
- `401` — Missing or invalid API key
- `403` — Scope or principal policy denied the request
- `404` — API key not found
- `429` — Rate limit exceeded
- `500` — Internal Server Error
- `503` — Authentication or rate-limit store unavailable
