# Suppress an outbound destination

`POST /v1/telephony/compliance/suppressions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pyai.com`
- URL: `https://api.pyai.com/v1/telephony/compliance/suppressions`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Add a tenant-scoped opt-out or do-not-call suppression. The response masks the destination.

  - `source` 'internal_opt_out' | 'manual'
  - `reason` string, required

## Response `201`

Destination suppressed

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request (bad field, unsupported value)
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key (`code: unauthorized`)
