# Apply to PyAI for Startups (no auth)

`POST /v1/startup-program/applications`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pyai.com`
- URL: `https://api.pyai.com/v1/startup-program/applications`
- Auth: none required

Submit an application to the PyAI for Startups credit program ($20k, $50k, or $100k in PyAI credit plus a managed phone-minute allowance; see https://pyai.com/startups). Public and unauthenticated; rate-limited per source network. On success the applicant receives a confirmation email and a person reviews the application within five business days. Accepted companies activate the award by creating (or signing in to) a PyAI account with the same `work_email` and verifying it; credits attach automatically. Validation failures return `400` with a problem `type` of `invalid_application:<field>` so a form can focus the offending input.

  - `partner_code` string: Optional VC or accelerator partner code. Partner applications are reviewed within two business days.

  - `requested_tier` 'launch' | 'growth' | 'scale': Optional suggestion. PyAI selects the tier.
  - `consent_terms` boolean, required: Must be `true`. Acceptance of https://pyai.com/startups/terms.
  - `consent_directory` boolean: Allow PyAI to list the company in the program directory if selected.

## Other responses
