# Create an account and organization

`POST /auth/signup`

## Request body

  - `email` string, email, required
  - `password` string, required
  - `name` string
  - `org_name` string
  - `referral_token` string: Optional signed first-touch attribution token. Invalid, expired, or tampered values never block signup and receive no attribution.

## Response `201`

Account and organization created.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid account input.
- `429`: Signup anti-abuse limit reached.
