# Sign out (revoke access token)

`DELETE /users/sign-out`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.purplegrain.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.purplegrain.com/api/v1/users/sign-out`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Revokes only this connection's own bearer token, the **Doorkeeper** access token sent in **`Authorization: Bearer`**.
Equivalent to **`POST /oauth/revoke`** for that token. The person's other sessions stay signed in.
Returns **400** if the bearer token is missing or not a valid/active Doorkeeper access token.

## Response `204`

Token revoked.

- `400`: Missing or invalid access token.
