# Ungroup a block

`DELETE /properties/{property_id}/blocks/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.purplegrain.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.purplegrain.com/api/v1/properties/{property_id}/blocks/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Ungroup: archives the block and takes the label off every member paddock, so each one's `block_id` is null (the home block). The paddocks, their boundaries and every record stay exactly as they were. Requires edit rights on the property.

## Response `204`

Ungrouped.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized — no session.
- `403`: Forbidden — the caller may not edit this property.
- `404`: No such property, or no live block with that id on it.
