# Delete a business

`DELETE /organizations/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.purplegrain.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.purplegrain.com/api/v1/organizations/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes the business and, with it, its memberships, join
links, services, subscriptions, likes, clients and properties, and the
tasks it produced. Tasks it was assigned as a provider are kept, with
that link cleared. This cannot be undone. Only an owner may call this.
An AI assistant cannot call this. A signed-in owner in the app still can.
