# Remove a business membership or invitation

`DELETE /organization-roles/{id}`

## Request

Permanently delete the membership or invitation identified by `id`.
This removes that membership's access to the business or invalidates
its pending invitation. The person may remove their own membership;
removing another person's role requires ownership rights on the
business and the connection's permitted access.

Confirm the person and business before deletion. This does not delete
the person's account, the business, or its farm records. Returns no
content on success. Use `updateOrganizationRole` to change a role's
permission or invitation status instead of deleting it.
