# Decline a team invite

`POST /invites/{token}/decline`

Public (unauthenticated) decline — the invitee says no. No one-time
code is required (the token is the credential and declining grants
nothing). The invite keeps its token: the owner can re-send it
(`POST /organization-roles/{organization_role_id}/resend-invite`), and
accepting off the original link still works while the invite is valid,
so a mistaken decline is recoverable.

## Response `204`

Invite declined.

## Other responses

- `404`: Unknown, revoked or already-claimed invite.
- `422`: Invite is expired.
