# Your account's change history

`GET /v1/account/events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.puntersedge.online`
- URL: `https://api.puntersedge.online/v1/account/events`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Cost: 0 credits. Every recorded change to this account's plan, credits, keys and
switches, newest first: who made it (a billing event, you in the console or with your key,
our support team, or a scheduled job), what it was, and the account's state before and after.

A primary key sees its own history and its team keys'; a team key sees its own. Key
material, password and email are never part of a row. The IP whitelist appears as a count
of rules, not the addresses.

## Query parameters

- `since` string, date-time, nullable: Only changes at or after this time (ISO 8601; UTC when no offset is given).
- `limit` integer: Most rows returned, newest first.

Successful Response

  - `available` boolean, required: false while the change history is not yet being kept for this deployment; `events` is then empty.

    - `at` string, required: When the change was written, ISO 8601 UTC.
    - `api_key_id` string, nullable: The key the change applied to: this key, or one of this account's team keys.
    - `actor` string, required: Who made it: stripe, console, admin, cron, internal_provision or system.
    - `action` string, required: What changed, e.g. plan_change, credits_override, key_rotate, key_mint, team_key_mint, team_key_revoke, overage_toggle, provision.
    - `source` string, required: The route, billing event or scheduled job that made the change.
    - `before` object, nullable: The account's state before the change (plan, active, credit fields, label, IP rule count, billing ids, overage switch).
    - `after` object, nullable: The same fields after it.
    - `request_id` string, nullable: The X-Request-Id of the API call, or the billing event id, that made the change.
    - `note` string, nullable

- `402`: Monthly credit allowance exhausted for this plan. Upgrade at https://puntersedge.online/api/pricing
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded for this plan. Honour the `Retry-After` header (seconds) before retrying. See https://puntersedge.online/developers/rate-limits
- `500`: Unexpected server error. Safe to retry with backoff.
