# Compatible GEO IP Lookup

`GET /checkgeoip`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ipapi.proweblook.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://ipapi.proweblook.com/api/v1/checkgeoip`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `api_key`

Compatible path for existing Geo IP integrations. New integrations should use GET https://ipapi.proweblook.com/?ip=8.8.8.8&api_key=YOUR_API_KEY.

Geolocation data

- GeoIPResponse
  - `status` boolean: true if the IP was successfully resolved, otherwise false.
  - `ip` string
  - `range` number[]: Latitude/longitude pair returned by the edge API.
  - `country` string: Two-letter ISO country code.
  - `country_name` string: Full country name.
  - `region` string, nullable: State or region name.
  - `region_iso` string, nullable: Region ISO code, when available.
  - `city` string, nullable: City name, when available.
  - `postal_code` string, nullable: Postal or ZIP code, when available.
  - `isp` string: Internet Service Provider name.
  - `organization` string: Organization associated with the IP address.
  - `latitude` number
  - `longitude` number
  - `asn` integer: Autonomous System Number.
  - `asn_organization` string: Organization associated with the ASN.
  - `timezone` string: Timezone of the IP location.
