# Verify Email Address (Cron-Compatible)

`GET /checkemailcron`

## Request

- Auth: API key in query parameter `api_key`

Compatibility path with the same query parameters, response, and email-credit reservation and refund behavior as GET /checkemail.

## Query parameters

- `email` string, required

## Response `200`

Completed verification or application-level error

- EmailCheckResponse
  - `balance` integer: Current remaining email credits after the check or refund attempt. Omitted when API authentication fails.
  - `status` boolean, required: True for a completed check, including an invalid address; false for authentication, credit, or lookup failure.
  - `email` string: Checked address; present on completed checks.
  - `emailformat` boolean: Whether the address has valid syntax; present on completed checks.
  - `emailexist` boolean: True for deliverable or catch-all results; present on completed checks.
  - `verdict` string: Completed check verdict: deliverable, undeliverable, unknown (catch-all), or invalid_format.
  - `reason_code` string: Lookup reason on completed checks or lookup failures; credit_refund_pending means restoration could not complete. Omitted for authentication or insufficient-credit errors.
  - `error` string: Human-readable error when status is false.
