# Deactivate Dropdown

`DELETE /api/v1/admin/dropdowns/{dropdown_id}`

Soft-delete a dropdown by deactivating it.

Checks referential integrity: returns 409 if the dropdown is still
referenced by any parts. Requires ``settings:delete`` permission.

## Path parameters

- `dropdown_id` string, uuid, required
