# Acknowledge prospect delivery (batch).

`POST /api/v1/prospects/ack`

## Request

Marks one or more domains delivered so they aren't returned again. **Job-blind by design:**
one ack marks each domain delivered across all of the caller's jobs. **Idempotent:** an
unknown or already-acknowledged domain is a harmless no-op (returns `200` with a count that
reflects only the records actually marked), so clients never need to special-case them.

## Request body

- AckRequest: Body for acknowledging delivery of one or more companies (batch).
  - `domains` string[], required: Domains to acknowledge. Each is marked delivered so it isn't returned again across any of your discoveries. Idempotent — acking an unknown or already-acknowledged domain is a harmless no-op that simply contributes 0 to the count.

## Response `200`

Acknowledged.

- AckResult: Result of an acknowledge call.
  - `customer_id` string: The acknowledging customer's id (echoed from the X-Customer-Id header).
  - `acknowledged` integer: Number of prospect records marked delivered across the requested domains. Idempotent — unknown or already-acknowledged domains contribute 0.
  - `matched` integer: How many of the requested domains belong to this customer (already-acknowledged ones included). When it is 0 — every requested domain is unknown to this customer — the call answers 404 instead of a 200 that acknowledged nothing.
  - `requested` integer: Number of domains in the request.

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed request (missing/invalid field or header).
- `401`: Missing/invalid/expired Bearer token.
- `405`: HTTP method not allowed on this endpoint (rejected before any credit debit).
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded (100 requests / 60s per customer).
