# List the land uses

`GET /v1/land-uses`

## Request

Every land use in a state, as Rapid Planning Reports cover them, with its id: the landUse of a single land use’s Rapid Planning Report, and of the planning report where a pathway can deliver it. Ids are stable: they never change, and no id is used for another land use. pathways lists the pathways that can deliver each, with the ids of their ways: for nsw-cdc, the complying development codes (NSW only). Free.

## Response `200`

The land uses.

- LandUseList
  - `object` 'list', required
  - `data` LandUse[], required
    - `id` string, required: The id to send as landUse: stable, it never changes or names another land use.
    - `name` string, required: The land use's name.
    - `category` string, required: The kind of land use it is.
    - `popular` boolean, required: One of the land uses most asked about.
    - `pathways` object[], required: The pathways that can deliver it, which the report answers it by; none when no pathway PropCode covers can. nsw-cdc covers NSW only.
      - `pathway` string, required: The pathway's id, such as nsw-cdc.
      - `wayIds` string[], required: The ids of the ways that can deliver it under that pathway: for nsw-cdc, the codes.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request isn’t valid. Codes: `key_in_url`, `invalid_parameter`.
- `401`: No valid key. Codes: `missing_api_key`, `invalid_api_key`.
- `429`: Over a limit: retry after Retry-After. Codes: `rate_limited`, `sandbox_daily_limit`.
- `500`: Our error. Codes: `internal_error`.
